We provide prompt, aggressive and personal representation in the event that a person has been injured in an “at fault” accident. Remember there are strict time deadlines that cannot be missed. Estate planning
Allow us to assist you in preparing three three essential estate planning documents; Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Personal Directives. By having these documents in place you are able to save your loved ones time, money and stress. They ensure that your wishes will be carried out, and reduces the possibility of family conflict.
An Enduring Power of Attorney allows you to appoint someone to help you with your financial affairs should you become infirm or mentally incapable. The appointment can take place immediately or at some date in the future when and if you require assistance.
In a Personal Directive you may appoint someone to make personal decisions for you if you are incapable. In this document you can provide your Agent with clear direction for your care.
A Will appoints a Personal Representative, who has authority to make decisions for your estate. You can appoint guardians for your minor children. A well drafted document may also provide for tax planning and provides for distribution of your property in accordance with your wishes.
Our lawyers have drafted thousands of these documents. Their knowledge and expertise spans a wide range of topics giving you the peace of mind that comes from knowing your affairs are in order.
Estate Administration
We specialize in assisting families in this very difficult time. For both large and small estates, we assess what is required and—if necessary—help the Executor apply for Probate or Administration. We also provide services where probate is not required to transfer assets to estate beneficiaries. In the event there is no Will, we can advise you on the laws that apply to the handling of the estate.
Other services include Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths.
